The base model came as either a coupe or a sedan with the coupe selling for $3,450. A total of 16,063 examples of the base coupe and 25,718 of the sedan were produced. Standard equipment included an ashtray, armrests, V8 engine, disc brakes in the front, carpeting, dome light, windshield radio antenna, power steering, Deluxe steering wheel, Turbo-Hydramatic, and molding package. The Oldsmobile Cutlass 'S' model, listing for $3,550, was popular with over 50,000 examples produced. Inside, the upholstery was either cloth or vinyl. Features included a cigarette lighter, interior hood release, and dome light.
